About this event
Beginning in the 15th century, the Christkindlmarkt, literally translated as "Christ Child Market" but more accurately translated as "Christmas Market", is a street market popular in many towns in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland during the Christmas season. Traditionally held in the town square, the market offers food, drink, and seasonal items for sale from open-air stalls, accompanied by traditional singing and dancing. Our event will be hosted at the Columbus Maennerchor and will attempt to capture the spirit of these festive markets.
