About this event
Emma Todd, PhD student in the OSU Department of History, will present a talk on the history of German American brewers and beer. She'll reveal how beer and brewing were important for shaping the German American immigrant identity for both insiders and outsiders. Emma will also talk about how identity and culture are related to Prohibition, specifically in relation to beer.
